Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Isometry at playisometry.com (the "Service"), operated by Isometry ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Isometry is a free daily spatial reasoning puzzle game. A new puzzle is published each day across four difficulty levels. The game is free to play without an account. Creating an account is optional and enables permanent save history, cross-device sync, and future features such as leaderboards.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
3. Accounts
You may create an account using an email address and password or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate information when creating your account
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We will delete your account and associated data within a reasonable time.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to cheat, manipulate scores, or exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage on leaderboards
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Scrape, crawl, or automate requests to the Service in a way that places an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service
- Use a display name that is offensive, impersonates another person, or violates any third-party rights
5. Leaderboards and Display Names
Leaderboards display your chosen display name alongside your puzzle score. If you have not set a display name, you will appear as "Anonymous." We reserve the right to remove or change display names that are offensive, inappropriate, or impersonate another person.
Leaderboard scores are based on move count and completion time as recorded by our systems. We reserve the right to remove scores that appear to have been obtained through cheating or exploitation.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including the game design, puzzles, software, graphics, and logo, is owned by Isometry and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
By setting a display name, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that name in connection with the Service, including on leaderboards.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Isometry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss of streak, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed $10 USD.
9. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Vanderburgh County, Indiana.
